As you may know, it has been a crazy couple of days for the vlm and the VLM-TR has experienced tons of new traffic. I hope those folks have found something they like and/or think is useful.
I'm off to spend the weekend with friends up in Reno. We like to drink, so there should be some good updates when I get back, if I survive...

Okay, I have to ask, who are you????
:)
You have been on the blogosphere here for a very short time and everyone has you on their blogroll. Do you know a whole lotta people in the so-called wine world?
Inquiring minds want to know! :)
Lyle-
Do I hear you calling for a blog-off? A blog-down?
You trying to say I don't understand the blog world because I don't live here?
What's a blogroll?
Does it go with coffee or Gamay?
Glad to hear you've landed safely
Nancy-
I gotta admit, I'm not really sure what a blog roll is either. My guess is that it is the list of other blogs at your blog.*** Is there some way to find out what blog rolls I'm on?
I only did this to prove a point to Thor, but it has ended up being a nice outlet for tasting notes and other stuff. I'm not dising blogs or anything like that, but I don't get a lot of my information from blogs and rarely read them; thus, ***.
*** A question of etiquette. When someone links to my blog, am I obligated to link to theirs even if I don't read it? It may be that the blog is really good, but it's just that I only have so much time in the day.
Dear Nathan,
You sure have a lot to learn about logrolling.
Love,
SFJ
Everyone knows lyle. He pisses people off with his strong and often misguided musings on wine.
Just kidding, Lyle what's up? I left New York for state controlled liquor authority (in philly). Actually i'm semi-retired from the wine world. Now I chop Cheesesteaks and flip Pies. My bloodpressure has dropped.
Any idea who this is?
Hint: I never got my '89 Raffault or '04 Papin from Crush. . ..
Vulgar Little Monkey,
Hmmm... you sidestepped my question!
That's okay.... I don't know if there is a way you can find out who has you on their blogroll. I thought blogroll was a normal word here; perhaps I made it up.
Anyway, I think re: your etiquette question - NO you don't have to - it's kind of like when someone gets married and asks you to be the best man, does that mean he has to be your best man when you get married? I don't think so. Just do what you want.
"Is there some way to find out what blog rolls I'm on?"
www.wholinks2me.com is one I use. I'm sure there are others.
Iuli,
Is that you Welder?
Hey, wasn't this last weekend??
Nancy-
Didn't mean to sidestep. I've been in and around the wine business my entire adult life, so yeah, I do know quite a few people.
Chuck-
Landed safely, but soon to take off back to Durham, this time working for Duke. Crazy, huh?
SFJoe-
I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK.
Geshtin-
Thanks for the tip.
Cliff-
New post is up. Expect a post next week on 2004 Belliviere Jasniers.
Great -- thanks!
I only did this to prove a point to Thor
Um, I'm really happy you're blogging. (Truly. No snark here.) But if you think sporadically posting to an unedited blog has anything to do with what I was saying in that long-ago and mostly-forgotten argument, you didn't understand a thing. Unfortunately.
